@mcastel First, no info from me either, so I think you would be safe to get the current version. New versions don't seem to pop up from nowhere, so there should be some media event, and now there seems to be none. Second, if the current version does what you need, it should be ok for several years. I have still a set three years old. It would be nice to get new one, but it isn't a must. Third, the new set is probably priced the same way as the previous ones, which is not very much. Here in Finland one can easily spend the amount in a restaurant during one evening...
@jwa this seems fully reasonable. I'd like to upgrade to iLife09 also because of its integration of online services as Flickr, which I use as my main online photo repository from years. Meanwhile, I'm playing with Picasa, which is an excellent software (and it's free); at any rate, IMHO Picasa is much worth using if you are also a regolar user of Picasa web (it features an excellent integration with desktop and online services), but it's not my case, actually.
PS and yes, also in Italy you can spend the same amount in a restaurant during one evening... ;)
@jwa well, now I KNOW FOR SURE that iLife10 is coming (you should pre-order it at Apple Store in a couple of hours). No, I do not work at Apple... I am so sure simply because I just made up my mind, and ordered my copy of iLife 09 .. ;)
