@lindstorm and won't see a trace of the MMS on your current software.
The magic will be coming from the community this time.
@lindstorm don't underestimate people in the community :-)
Polishing and packaging a basically working app takes a bit, but my guess is that receiving MMS is maybe a month away.
@tkojo if you're talking about the community , which introduced as the first accelerometer capable app this "how high can you throw your phone?" -application (while Apple dev users did boring stuff like light saber, bubble level etc.)... well, let's just say I wouldn't hold my breath for that.
@lindstorm I think Enigma was the first app to use the accelerometer. That was last October. Since then there have been some games and apps that use it. IMHO getting MMS together in under two months shows that these people know their stuff, so I'm pretty sure they can polish it fairly fast.
@jal GPE calendar is in testing, but apparently developers aren't so keen on PIM apps. Don't know why. Users ask for calender features every now and then, but no really great open source implementations seem to be available.
@lindstorm I have sonera! But when I used to have Saunalahti and a mobile phone that couldn't handle them, I got this sms telling me that I had received MMS and there was instructions included to view it online. Like on a computer and stuff... :)
