API for getting list of channels.

Search filters:

  • All
  • All by language
  • My channels
  • Timelimit (seconds -- 0=all, >0 list only channels that has new messages within timelimit)
Sort order:
  • Alphabetic A-Z
  • "Most posts" first
  • "Most own posts" first
Data:
  • Channel name
  • New Message count within timelimit (N/A if timelimit=0)
--> This API would support Qaiku client to present channel lists.

Important : This should work both for authenticated user and public messages, even when my http connector is authenticated. I'm planning to support several user profiles + public feed in my iPhone-client...

This would give possibility to show hot channels instantly even without logging in.

Hello Qaiku Team!
What do you think, could you some day support this kind of functionality?

Other option for me is to create Google Appspot application with cron jobs. My app would get public timeline every 5 minutes and create list of message count of different channels to the database. My client can access the same database. It's doable but dum...
