Kubuntu 9.10 comes with a nice KDE uBlog tool on the desktop. Looks like it talks identi.ca. Any chance of making that talk to Qaiku?

@tkojo considered that they probably use a similar Twitter-like API that should be easy to hack. Of course the question is whether they have taken multiple accounts and multiple microblogging services into account when developing it. Can you contact the devs?

Could be an easy hack. Just by switching the api to point to qaiku and giving my credentials it got my avatar from here. Can't get or send messages though. Need to see tomorrow who wrote it and where to get sources.

@tkojo it might be a similar issue that @janole, the Gravity developer was experiencing: Twitter uses integers as message identifiers, while we use GUIDs.
