How do you specify location/geo properties when requesting messages, comments & users?

@Samuel currently only API that allows limiting by location is the search API, but suggestions on how limiting should work in the others is very welcome.

@bergie thanx. What's the syntax to specify location and proximity in the search API?

BTW, the /api/usage documentation page is somewhat unreadable due to poor contrast. Is it just me and my theme?

@Samuel the syntax is exactly same as on Twitter: q to provide the search terms, and then geocode for the location arguments (comma-separated in order lat, lon and radius in km). For example: q=midgard&geocode=60.175416157517,24.919127225876,5km

Yeah, the documentation page looks like crap. Have to ask @TomiS to look at it

@bergie why not allow the same geocode syntax for all methods? It could be nice to see the latest qaikus near me, qaikus written by a certain user in a certain place, what are the locations of the people responding to a qaiku or writing to a channel etc...

@Samuel that would be easy to do. The reason so far has been to remain API compatible with Twitter, but I guess adding some extra parameters is not an issue.

@bergie I would find this suggestion useful -- To have geocode based search limitation in all api-requests..

..and if it's not already there: Possibility to limit search result by time. Or is it just paging issue?

@Ile some listings support "since".
