Channel admins can now send alerts about opening qaikus to all channel members. If you are an admin, you can start any of your opening qaikus with '@#ChannelName' markup. If you do this, all channel members will see your opening qaiku message in their radar and they will also receive an email notification if they have email notifications enabled.

This feature is enabled only for channel admins because of the potential risk of spamming. So all you channel admins out there: Please use this wisely. Alert everybody only when it is absolutely necessary to let everyone know about your news. Abuses of this feature will result a very quick account deletion.
