Perhaps the channel page should either default to "newest" or remember the setting?

Ah! I think I realised the difference between "Active" and "Latest". I much rather prefer the "Latest".

We just might do this the way you suggested; we'll just have to fix a couple of more severe bugs first and then give it a quick thought :)
