ei ei ei ei ei ei ei! lisäys: kuten tuolla toisaalla tulikin todettua, niin pääkärkenä funktionaalisuuden täydentäminen organisaatiokäytössä, mutta tiedä vaikka siitä olisi jonninmoista iloa "isollakin puolella".

Personally, I'd rather have the presence functionality Jaiku used to have with the mobile client than try and emulate Facebook's chat. I just want to be able to show nice and clear on my profile that I'm available, in a meeting, away, offline.

Everyone I need to have a live conversation with is already on other IMs

Actually the chat is the only clearly visible change in that picture. With these new changes we can add many different functionalities to qaiku. Example when you are reading comments of some qaiku, you dont have to refresh the page to see if someone has posted new comments after you loaded the page. They appear instantly when they are posted. And that is only one example. Btw. that presence functionality that @dsample described sounds a very good idea.

@myrtti, @dsample, as most of the features this is not either for everyone (some might find it useful, and some will not). In the future, the base is there, it's also possible to chat with other jabber clients. Myrtti, and yes, you can keep the chat offline if you want :)

and as @aehparta wrote, chat is only one thing, others will prolly follow.
