Quote: there are millions of Symbian users in Asia and Europe. The world does not revolve on Apple, RIM and Android . By 2013, more than 800 mill ppl around the world will be using GPS-enabled devices & related services.

VesaSaarinen on Twitter: Disagree, pixels needed! RT @stedi @rautasilta Cameraphones are about sharing, not about megapixels! Nokia still does not get it. #nokiaworld. I agree about the sharing. Quality is not so essential for blogging either, in my opinion.

E-series has to ditch Symbian asap. At least on selected models. It's just an OS so much in the past.

@visualradio regarding sharing, I've been moblogging pictures from my Nokia phones since 2004-or-so, and at least N900 has excellent sharing features.

@lindstorm How can they do it? The MeeGo is still in lab and new products are ready for launching next spring. This has been the story until know. The new Boss might take a more "single minded" approach. In my understanding, Nokia still has a lot of work to do before the MeeGo era starts and they have to keep up with the past. Your focus on E-series is probably vise and correct.

@bergie I use E71 and would like to have a better camera and video but 12 Mp sounds like an overkill for the moment. Personally, I think that video, audio recording, pictures are important features in addition with social media in phones. Traditional phone calling is a sideline. Skype is more important for me than a traditional phone.

Tal Givoly RT @aulia: Nokia is desperately defensive at nokiaworld. Statements are more self assuring than openly convincing Go for details at Twitter and #nokiaworld

Are people going to wait for E8 instead of N8? http://thehandheldblog.com/2010/09/14/pictures-nok...

E8 When will it be available? What about price? But first, it's the E7 that is coming first... http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/devices/noki...

@visualradio you mean N8 vs E7? N8 is supposed to be shipping this month IIRC

@bergie I was confusing with N8 and E8 but the first one to come is N8 and then E7 @Kayraranta Yes, migth be a good choice for an E71 user but I became interested in E7 - the new Nokia communicator. Symbian^3 doesn't break my hearth but it could be good enough for all-round mobile computing. MeeGo-alternatives will be availiable within a year - probably.
