I remembered that I'd seen some kind of semantic text editor, the one I thought about is here: http://nlp.shef.ac.uk/wig/aktivedoc.h... Not sure it is what we are after here, and it is quite old, but it might be worth a look

@evabl444 thanks for the link! At this point I'm more looking to make some user stories and user interface conventions for the editor, but after that some reference implementation will most likely follow.
I've sort of thought of basing the reference semantic rich text editor on WYMeditor, but it is too early to say. They even support some RDFa already
