Preferred distro (I know, I can't escape from this question...) ?

I (when I am on linux) use mainly Mint. It's a very good derivate of Ubuntu, IMHO, it features a really elegant desktop, and with all multimedia codecs out of the box.
My only complaint is that - till now - there is no reliable upgrading procedure, and one is strongly encouraged to make a clean istall of the new release: this not fit entirely well to my preference; I really prefer to upgrade, when I can, so not to have to spend time on all configurations again and again...
@mcastel: well, fot that reason i prefer Arch. it's rollover, so u don't have to reinstall or upgrade. u just update/upgrade (call it whatever u want) packages, including kernel. only minus i find in arch is. u got to be bit more experienced. and if i need to have some special things done "right now" and just don't remember how u do them, it's bit of a pain. for example:
changing proxy for whole system is in ubuntu easy, u just do few clicks and everything is changed. in arch it doesn't change for me whole bit only gnome. terminal for example is unchanged. (i know, i might be just missing something and searching bit on internet would help to find solution to do this in arch as well. but... just can't be asked. :P
I'm hopeless distro hopper. Debian Sid (or Sidux lately), Zenwalk/Slackware, Arch Linux and Mandriva on the steady rotation on my laptop. But if I absolutely must name only one, I'd say Arch.
Last autumn I put up a home server with my old PC and installed Ubuntu on it. Very pleasant experience, maybe I should try fiddling with it again, try other distros and shit.
Sometimes I feel like a complete nutcase. I have already bought a web hotel from suncomet, so there's no reason to lose my nerves with a home server. But it's fun!
Started with Red Hat 3.x, and then changed permanently to Debian when Woody was released and now I'm running Debian stable on server, unstable on my workstation and Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex on my laptop. My Gumstix-board runs on Angstrom :) Arch Linux is cool, but I'm too lazy to "fix" something that works already ;>
Depends on what role the machine/s running on the OS has.
For servers I prefer CentOS, for desktop/laptop I'm using Ubuntu (boring I know). I am open for new suggestions when it comes to the desktop/laptop bit, but it should be as easy/fast to use as Ubuntu - I don't have time to have a computer of mine standing doing nothing while it's being setup :/
