@vimma Could you be more specific. Is your host running windows or linux? I'm not sure if your hots or virtual is running out of disk space...

vmware server can change size of disk as well.

So i boot to to linux (redhat) that's the host. There's plenty of space (~30Gb). After I start up Vmware-Windows, I see that C-drive, which it sees has only 0,5 G left. So, crisis is eminent... I'm just Noob with vmware :) VMware-player is v.2.5.2.

  • I've removed, everything possible, and there is no extra apps, nor data in Windows. I cannot remove anything more...
  • Someone has said that I need some upgraded version of vmware, that with free player cannot fix this, but I'm not sure of that. Will study tomorrow more...

you'll need server i think. there you can change hardware of virtual machine. i don't think you can do it with player (as it's only player. :P).

after changing size of disk on virtual side. don't forget you need to change size of partition in windows guest.
