If it would be so, it'd be a very welcome change. I've always said that Linux distros are shooting themselves in the foot by looking like they dropped from 1992. It's not a complete rehaul, like I'd like to see, but definitely a step in the right direction.

@henrik I also understand that they do not want to make a sharp transition from the "old look" (and I think it's a wise decision, given the large user base they managed to reach...)
