Hm, is it just me or is there no documentation for mjolnir on the homepage?

@Plux Yep. There's no documentation or tutorial whatsoever how to make mjölnir-php run with apache.

Are you making python or php program?

Plux

@tepheikk Both actually. I want to build a PHP application with some python backend stuff, preferably using midgardmvc. :)

@Plux It's quite easy to have it running when you know what to do. If I write simple examples to some place or a tutorial, can you follow them and fill missing peaces of information? That would help quite a lot in the future.

edit: Have you figured out how to initialize midgard database?

@tepheikk I have got mjolnir and everything to install, I fiddled around and figured out how midgard-query works (ie, how and where to create a configuration and make it aware of it, and to create a connection and create the database both for sqlite and mysql).

I fiddled around a bit more and figured out that the php modules, does work, ie a could create a config, create the database etc.

So what I would need to know:

1. How to properly install MidgardMVC and it's components. (how to make PHP aware of midgardmvc).
2. How to create a Apache vhost, and make it aware of the root-file, and load the MVC)
(Would be nice to get a decent list of dependancies, figured out that I will need Pake, PHPTal, Markdown and syck, I have missed something there?)
3. How to create a basic module that does something simple.

And yes, I can follow a tutorial and fill in the blanks. I think I have started to get a grasp of how things are connected in Mjölnir. ;)

@Plux the good thing about doing this on Qaiku is that then it will be saved for future use, and can be easily cooked into a tutorial

@bergie True :-)

@Plux Mjolnir is not PHP/Web framework. Running it in Apache environment is just yet another way. Just configure apache's vhost, and use dedicated .htaccess file in root dir. BTW, I doubt midgard-python will work smoothly with Apache.

@Piotras: No, Mjölnir is a content repository. ;) But as I have understand it MidgardMVC is pretty much that.

@Plux Yep :) But still, there's no real installer, so there are many things you have to do manually.

@Piotras: Yep. :) And it's all thoose things I have to do manually I'm trying to figure out. :)
