The theme of EBRF 2010 is co-creation, a concept increasingly used in business research.

Stoyan Tanev is one of the authors of article What Does Existing Literature Say About Value Co-creation? He says that, simply put, co-creation is what you get when you take the open source paradigm out from the context of open source development. If you are interested in co-creation, you might want to start by reading the article and continue to Prahalad and others.

It would be nice to know whether social media research is also looking at co-creation. Any tips?

@jukkahuhtamaki have you read Prahalad? Is this book pure business or academic as well...?

And yes Jukka, absolutely SoMe is looking at co-creation - although I suppose the terminology sometimes gets mixed up (UGC, UCC, etc.) - but let's discuss this some other time, gotta run. Have a good one!

I haven't read Prahalad, @troppone, not yet. I am not sure whether the approach is more academic or business-oriented. Let's find out.

@ubiq, unfortunately I had to leave when things were getting really interesting. Had to attend to a meeting elsewhere.
