It's not a new job, just a project within my current job.

I see. I might take 2 months in Silicon Valley just out of curiosity. I haven't been there and it would be interesting to see if the place really is somehow more suitable for all these internet and hi-tech companies we've been hearing about.

That's the bit that's drawing me in, but being there on my own for that long, with my birthday during that time too, for some reason isn't attracting me. That and the fact that I don't fancy being away from @myrtti for that long.
