Heavy duty or worn out? My MBP-battery had dropped its real-use capasity to 50% after 450+ (1,5 years) recharge cycles. Just bought a new one and now we're back at 4,5 h or so.

This one is quite brand new as well, i have used it for only a couple of months. And wouldn't exactly call the work i did yesterday as a heavy duty, it was just writing some notes and emails.

Check that you don't have any flash active internet sites or such open. Processor usage can be checked from activity monitor. My battery lasted last evening ~5hrs. But if there's some heavy flash oriented website, battery lasts only ~2-2.5hrs.

@tepheikk , thanks for the tip. That is quite possible as i usually have somethin like 5-7 different browser windows open with multiple tabs in each. Have to check next time.
