@mcastel, i have almost completely given up using firefox for regular surfing, it's just too heavy, using safari almost all the time now. Thou i wonder if FF slowness might be because of all the dev tools i have installed - on the other hand because of those tools i keep using ff on daily basis.

Lifehacker has a post about whether people should use Chrome or Firefox

@eholmila it's more or less what happened to me. With a difference, I tried Safari for some times, when I got my MacBook. It's surely faster than FF, and it has some nice features, but in the end the lack of extensions made me to switch to Chrome, which now can already count a significant numbers of these.. Currently I switch to FF only when I write blog post, to use Scribfire..

@health-fitness in many many years, it never happened that I took same distance to FF.. it's happening now with Chrome/Chromium. FF is great, marvellous extensions etc etc..., but it's definitively too heavy, expecially in not-too-recent system (IMHO).

@mcastel 100% agree with you. Firefox is really heavy which sucks. But 100's of extentions which is great!
